The naming and launching ceremony for “PYXIS ALFA”, a Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC), was held on September 22nd, 2016 at Kobe Shipyard, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. with an audience of 3,800 people.
Gyxis signed a long term charter agreement of “PYXIS ALFA” with Kumiai Navigation (Pte) Ltd. expecting the vessel to support Gyxis in enhancing its product supply & trade capability.
The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in May, 2017 after the completion of hull fitting.
