GYXIS CORPORATION (President and Representative Director: Fumiaki NOKURA) has established a local subsidiary, GYXIS NORTH AMERICA LLC, in Houston to further strengthen its overseas LPG trading and develop business in North America. Aiming for a full-scale launch in the first quarter of 2021, we are now making careful preparations, including dispatching personnel, while carefully assessing the risks of COVID-19.
Houston is a leading center for the U.S. energy business, and we will build a strong global network in cooperation with the Tokyo Head Office, London Branch, and Singapore Branch to further enhance our trading capabilities to respond flexibly and in anticipation of market changes. We will also expand our business areas by entering the North American market, which has become the world’s largest supply source, and further contribute to the stabilization of import procurement by conducting balanced purchasing from the Middle East and North America.
